Bought this strictly for new plastic pencils!
I love the new tattoo eyeliner pencils because they last all day and they're also waterproof. Sharpening was a big problem. I decided to try this Ulta brand because a couple of reviewers said it works with the newer plastic pencils. IT DOES! I was turning slowly, I live in PacNW and there are cosmetic issues here as it's either warm here or rainy and cold. The lifetime of this sharpener. I like the top part that catches chips from falling out.
