I love doing woodwork for my own pleasure. Over the next few months I'll be removing the cheap builder-installed wire shelving and putting a nice block of wood in our pantry. I wasn't sure if I would make glass shelves or just buy them. I bought one as a "test" and have to say that my wife and I are very impressed with the device. So impressed I've just ordered 3 more units. I plan to build around them. There will be a corner shelf that will fit in the corner of the pantry. It includes 3 of them with a shelf with adjustable shelves on either side. So you may be wondering if I bought 4 and only 3 will be in the pantry, will the 4th go? Well, it goes in our second fridge (side by side). These shelves are just under 18 inches wide and small enough to fit in my beer fridge! Each shelf holds 15 large soup cans (can hold 18 pop/beer cans). , haven't tried it yet) Even if 45 cans of beer are neatly arranged in the fridge! The device is INCREDIBLY easy to assemble. I really can't understand why some people complain about the assembly you have trouble assembling because you folded the back wrong (back and sides are all preamble you just unfold them) If I had one complaint it would be it that the unit needs to be assembled I could find one that is permanently welded together. This unit is very strong, but "welded" would be rock solid. Shelves, run to your home storage and get a slab cut from 1/8" hardboard. It usually comes in brown or white and if you cut it to the depth of your shelving it will help distribute the weight and to hold this device.
