I had really high hopes for this fan and really wanted to love it, but I'm struggling. I work in IT and am not the type for quick or spontaneous purchases. I spent all day reading reviews, watching videos and browsing websites. I needed a flexible fan that could handle a very different working environment. As an Alaskan resident, I needed something that could be mounted on a ladder, cart, table, or used in a network closet. I chose this more expensive model hoping to use it at home while working on the road. If it were strong enough for a golf cart it would certainly suit my needs. I immediately liked the size. I needed something I could put in my work bag and take with me everywhere. 1 point per fan. I immediately checked the battery and turned on the fan (the most important feature) and wasn't impressed. Four settings is a nice feature, but you have to be right above it to really feel the high settings (3ft or less). More than a meter away and not enough air to make a difference. At a height of 1.20 m you only feel a light breeze, and that's in my house. This kind of kills my plan to use it outside with the fitting function. Just not enough mpf. The clip was another selling feature that drew me in, and it's strong and sturdy. The light is good and can be useful in tight spaces, but I doubt I'll be using it. One thing I sacrificed for what I really wanted was a way to charge my phone and laptop while using a fan. It can charge other devices, but you have to remove the battery, so this is only useful in an emergency. All in all I wouldn't leave it because it fits perfectly in my work bag and has a good clip, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than camping; Great fan for tent camping. If you look at this I wouldn't recommend it for the job and based on the price I think it's overpriced for what you get. Step up the fan, replace the battery with a 20000mah one and let the devices charge on board and I'd pay that or more.
