As soon as I connected the drive, I was warned about the presence of a virus. There is a recycler folder with an executable. Who knows what's inside? Even without opening it, the antivirus I'm using (avast) reported a threat for Win32:Vitro and INF:Agent-D[Trj] from disk. I'll reformat and try again, but I don't have to worry about viruses the first time I use it.
