It took me a few uses of this shade to realize it was toner and not ink. I'm brunette and I dye my hair blonde. My hair absorbs a lot of peroxide from lightening and toning. I usually use the famous chemical toner which requires a 2:1 mix with 20 volumes of peroxide. True, I have hard water and it turns yellow quickly, sometimes in a week, even when using a tinted shampoo. I bought it thinking it would be the perfect pink purple pastel for my bleached hair, but it's not dye. I use this between toning with T11 and T28 to keep my hair in place. The opposite of brass. This saves my ends from additional peroxide damage. Hair must be bleached and dyed white at level 10 for Zephyr to look like a specimen. It's basically the old 'Snow White'.
