He used it 2 times when he assembled it for the first time, done. no more, age matters. 1 issue, however, the orange spiral track in the top joint needs more rotation as it doesn't sit flat and align with the section it connects. can be used, but not a smooth transition for cars and looks. I suppose if you're good with a heat gun you can try heating and bending it, but I can easily ruin the piece so I won't try, but I thought about it for 3 minutes. haha just let him, he doesn't use it anyway
