HEY YOU! Try this if your feet hurt

I thought they wouldn't work but after a week my leg shrunk. I now have to slip another regular sock over them to keep my shoes from being too loose, which works well because the material of the compression socks doesn't rub or wear out as easily and I get some extra compression. In the first week, the upper hem left an imprint on my calf, but over time this is no longer noticeable. Likely due to less overall swelling due to inflammation. The extra material on the toes comes from improper wear. You have to start all the way with your toes. Then, without skipping the heel, spread the rest of the compression material evenly over the foot. It's not easy, but that's how compression stockings work. For men 9.5, ordering L/XL is not that difficult. I thought they were cutting my circulation off with the compression but since the ad said it improves circulation I decided to give it a try and after 3-5 days I noticed less pain at the end of a day of standing and walking. My feet were so sore before trying the compression sock that I could barely walk because of the pain in my feet and the next morning I can walk on my feet without much pain and not worry about how bad my feet end up ache day. I almost thought I had to look for a new job because my legs were so sore. I don't know why nobody has ever suggested compression stockings. Perhaps because it seems wrong that constant squeezing and clenching is supposed to increase blood flow. Unless you have other medical issues I suggest trying this. It's not as expensive as buying new boots that don't look worn out every 2-3 months, and it can address the source of the pain, as it did for me. I had to read the same thing about people saying "try it for a week before you give up compression" before I figured why not try it. You must heal before the pain goes away. Doh!
