The assembly was a bit confusing at first but then it started to make sense. After screwing together the pieces, it was strong. But the plastic trays are flimsy and don't stay in well, shifting at the slightest touch and falling down when hit by dishes being crammed into the bottom rack. Also, they need to be manually drained. The silverware holder (which isn't very large) and cutting boards have no trays so water from them drips on counter. The biggest annoyance to me is the racks are smaller than my previous (14×19 single layer) rack so there is less area to stack dishes on top of each other, much less pots. This makes it difficult for me to fit my two sinks full of dishes, all my oddly shaped food containers, and no way I can balance any pots on top.
