A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.
A4tek manufactures switches that are very comparable to the ones I've been using for quite some time now. On the previous keyboard, they had no failures in the previous four years. Particular care was taken with the red switches (which do not click). If you don't press down very hard, the sound will be slightly louder than the membrane, which is the plastic of the keycap rubbing up against the plastic of the switch base. In the subsequent generation, each and every one of the flaws that I have outlined will be fixed. I tested them both, and although the current model is somewhat more comfortable to wear, they do not sell quiet switches to us.
Pros
- I'd give it 9.5 out of 10 for the price. Design, the feeling of pushing the keycaps, the sound they make, and the overall build quality. Softina is also typical (nearly), and you can find it out if you use a wide variety of macros. Those individuals who are unable to figure it out on their own do not require it.
Cons
- In the keycap factory, there are no files and no sandpaper to be found. It was necessary for me to use a needle file to process the final row of keys. Then I look into it some more, and I find that the keycaps themselves are uneven because of the design elements (unusually after the membrane). Because the backlight is not obscured by anything, glare from the surfaces can be seen (if you sit close to the monitor, you will need to either reduce or collectively tint the brightness of the screen). Although the typefaces are different from the ones that are normally used, I quickly adjusted to them.
