Review on Seagate Game Drive 2TB External Hard Drive Portable HDD for PS4 - Enhanced Compatibility (STGD2000400) by Darryl Duncan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little drive, good price and easy plug and play transfer

I switched to a Seagate PS4 external drive yesterday and this morning I installed 12 games that were almost 10GB in size . up to nearly 65GB, and it took 45 minutes to transfer those games from the PS4's internal drive to an external drive. It took seconds to set up/format which was great as some people said it took 2-5 minutes. I have internet from ATT and I share it with 3 other people so that might be why it took a while to download from disc to disc but I'm not complaining I have space FINALLY! There are no paperwork instructions so I was glad people asked questions and everything was sorted out. Make sure your system is completely shut down, plug in your drive, turn on your system and follow the prompts. The only problem some people might have is that you cannot power off the system when transferring your games from the internal drive. It's not a problem for me as I had this morning off so this morning was the perfect time to translate. I've included three photos to give everyone a better idea of how small it is, making it perfect for a small compartment in your purse or backpack. And the blue light in the corner of the entrance lets you know it's on. So I went from 400GB of games on my internal drive to 10.20GB on my internal drive. There is no need to remove games from it and everything will transfer perfectly. And if you leave it plugged in, any game you download from the PS4 store or disc will transfer straight to your external hard drive, and you can hibernate it while you play.
