I really like these combs. They are better made and stronger than others I've had. I think the price might be a bit high, but I don't know what the hair comb sliding scale is. As far as holding my hair goes, I have thick long naturally curly hair. I pulled up the edges (a little on each side) and used a comb to lightly pin them in the center of the head. With this order, STAY HOME in Pennsylvania, well, I'm acting like a bum. Rschunimagu. The great thing about naturally curly hair is that it can be styled in a jiffy to look alive. I had one of these combs for three days and it never moved! So for me, yes, they are worth it to me.
