Cute apron made of high quality linen fabric. The fabric is lightweight yet durable and has the characteristic sheer look and feel of linen; It drapes beautifully and gets softer and softer with wear and wash. I ordered the apron in navy and it is big enough - the bib is a bit wider and offers more coverage than some of my other aprons. The waist ties are securely attached to the main body of the apron, they are quite long and can be tied at the back or wrapped and tied at the front. The neck strap attaches to the bib on the left side and there is a delightful coconut shell closure on the right side to adjust the fit. I'm 5'4" and it hits me just below the knees. The center pocket is large and divided into two pockets by a vertical seam. I would have preferred two pockets further apart, but that's a minor point. The apron is well sewn, no skipped stitches and gaps, all seams are even, corners are even, there are no protruding threads, machine washed in cold water on gentle cycle, then line dried, no shrinkage or fading, and since it is a As it was a windy day the wrinkles were minimal. Most of the time it needs to be touched up with an iron to look best. I wear aprons a lot so I have quite a few. I usually choose something fairly heavy for kitchen and garden work. This one is very light and comfortable and it looks good - it seems too good for everyday use so I plan to use it for baking or other light jobs. so I can leave it like that. The price seems a little high for an apron to me but it's worth it to me because it really is made out of high quality linen (so many aprons I've come across say they're linen or cotton/linen but they are they don't).
