2021.08.19 MRE: I really wanted this to work! My files are scattered across 3 hard drives and I decided to merge them. My main computer is a Mac Pro (Late 2013) with USB 3 ports. I also use a Mac Mini (Late 2014) to watch Revain Prime etc. It also has USB 3.0 ports, which it should connect to an external drive. I didn't get anything either. Neither machine noticed the drive. No disk utility has done this. I used the cable that came with the drive on both Macs. It just didn't work. Return to the drawing board.
