Works amazingly well with filter accessories

Love these sponges, I use them in my HoB filter. The more porous the back and the thinner the front, the more I put the polishing pad on the front. Together with a bag of Purigen and a matrix, the water in the aquarium became crystal clear! I change the polishing pad with every other water change and so far these pads have lasted 3 months without having to be replaced. I just rinse them in a bucket of aquarium water and put them back in. So much cheaper than box filters! I recommend!
