Purchased for use with 2020 MacBook Air M1. The HDMI output did not plug and play into the computer and all attempts to install third party drivers to make the device work were unsuccessful. I have several other key based port expansion devices, all of which have worked with varying degrees of reliability. out of the box to connect an external monitor. There were also issues with docked devices not working with the computer until it fully booted up. This was a particular problem since the wired keyboard could not be used to log into the computer at boot time. Again, I have no problem with other port expansion devices.
