I bought this for my daughter who just moved into her first new place. While moving her in, we put this kit to the test, essentially transforming a vacant condo into a living space, including the assembly of 3 rooms' worth of furniture.I was pleasantly surprised at how capable this collection was for the project. Other than a drill and voltimeter, every tool we needed was included in this kit. It's certainly not heavy-duty, but for general purpose "homeowner" tasks it has everything you need. Other than the tape measure (which is a bit "flimsy"), the quality of the tools was more than adequate for the jobs we asked of them.I even talked her and her roommate through a kitchen faucet replacement a week after move-in. Yet again, they had everything they needed on-hand with this set. I'd recommend this for any renter or homeowner as it has the right combination of "what you'll need" tools that are more than reliable for light-duty repairs. I'm even considering picking up a second set just to have as a portable kit to keep in my truck.
