No WiFi connection

I'm good with technology so I don't usually struggle with small technical issues that I can fix myself. However, about a week after purchase, I had trouble connecting to the WiFi. I thought it was my internet, rebooted the router, rebooted the computer, cleared and tried again. When I started testing my connection on other devices, everything was fine. and then this laptop gave me a blue screen error. Then I searched and found that this is a common problem with this particular make/model. When the blue screen appeared I didn't get the EXACT error code because it rebooted quickly. Finally I tried to report the issue through Revain but they wouldn't let me because it's been 32 days (they don't bother after 30 days. So I called HP myself. Not only was I on hold forever, but they also wanted me on the phone MUCH longer to tell them exactly what I said was a problem with the driver I want a refund or a new unit now I have this laptop which can't be used because it refuses to stay connected to ANY WIFI and I only bought it because I need it for work when traveling (I'm a journalist) to quickly find and download my assignments, I'm thinking about it, with my bank to compete as neither HP nor Revain can help me.
