Installed in a large blue case. I had a few leakage issues initially, but found that if I moved a small white sealing washer to the bottom of the filter it would seal. They come without washers so I used one from the previous filter. They also don't have a hard top or bottom, they're all filtered. I'm sure that's how they keep the price down. The water drainage is very good. So it's worth it for me. I pump water from the lake to feed the hut. I don't drink water, so I can't comment on the taste.
