I bought this instead of the original F-2000 filter to save some money. I realized that yes it's cheaper and yes it "works" (meaning it fits where it belongs) but the flow rate of this filter is terrible compared to the brand name. It takes 2-3 times longer to fill a glass of water. What you save in money you lose over time. To make sure this wasn't an isolated incident, I installed a second new filter (after messing with the first for a month) and there was no improvement in water flow.
