The smell is pleasant, it's a pleasure to open. This is the only 'makeup' (ie foundation etc) I've used and it smoothes, brightens and moisturizes my old skin. I've never been a founder or a makeup artist but this product does everything I want it to and smells delicious. A little goes a long way, so while it's quite expensive, it lasts a long time.
