With the purchase of this dehumidifier I now have a separate small dehumidifier for each section of my basement. This instrument is easy to use, compact and has an easy to read display. I leave it in my basement on strong mode all the time and I think it's pretty quiet even on that mode. It tends to fill up a bit quicker than my other two units (but many factors can affect this) and I need to empty it about every 3 days. Although it seems to be working fine, we haven't had any problems with it. I personally chose to turn the light off as I'm not in the basement that often and it will automatically turn off when full and glow red (assuming it's on a flat surface and the float/magnet is correct lifted and not liable). )
