After my last scraper ended up in the Headless Pen graveyard, I decided to get this set. I have to say this is one of my best buys that has stood the test of time and use. They are well made and still going strong after 5 years. With all the abuse I've put them through, they haven't burned, melted, or curled. In other words, they are definitely heat resistant and durable. The silicone heads are still attached to the handles and retain their original hardness. They haven't lost their shape and they haven't lost their flexibility. The handles are strong and offer a good grip. They don't feel heavy or uncomfortable when you need to stir (e.g. dressing, gumbo) for longer than half an hour. Overall, they're great for chopping/stirring/folding/spreading hot and cold mixes. They work well in mixing bowls, blenders, pots and pans. They're also versatile when you need to navigate the bottom caves of a 128-ounce Hellman's Sam's Club jug to snag that last scoop of mayonnaise. Been there, done it, and it works! Better than anything? These gorgeous blue heads make them easy to find in a drawer or dish rack that appears to be filled with black and stainless steel! Overall, this is a great value for your kitchen arsenal for a lifetime. As Franz Kafka said, "It is better to have and not need than to need and not have.” Trust me, you will need and use them.
