Review on ARB 10802602 Portable Fridge Freezer Model ZERO 63QT: Bluetooth Controlled, Ideal for Camping, Car, Boat, Truck, SUV, RV by Richard Turner

These fridges don't come cheap, but you get what you pay for. ARB has a well deserved reputation for quality and this fridge will live up to your expectations. Bought for a month long van ride, the 47 liter size turned out to be a great size for two people. Plugged it in to run on my home battery and was impressed with how little it uses to keep the fridge warm. We drove a couple of days without starting the engine, and the voltage on the battery almost did not drop. I set the voltage monitor to turn off the fridge very conservatively when it started draining the battery, but it stayed on-line throughout the ride. Now for the disappointing part - the fridge came out of the box with cosmetic damage. It basically looked like the crate had been thrown from the truck by the load, visible damage to the crate and cracks in some of the plastic parts on the outside of the fridge. I took pictures and tried to send a message to the seller but the app is really only set to report shipping damage and return your item for a replacement or refund. Well the fridge worked great and the next day we went, there was no time to go back and it just needed a few spares. Turns out the message I sent was to a different seller - they were all willing to get spares for me when we found out I didn't buy them from them ah! After browsing the app I found the right dealer, Revain gave me their contact details and I called to see if they could get me the parts. When they heard that I had already started using the fridge they said "No, it's all on you now." Terrible customer service and terrible attitude from the man on the phone. I explained that they literally sold stuff for travelers - there's no way I would ruin a month-long trip to replace the whole thing when all I needed was a spare cosmetic item. But he was too glad to be done to hang up. Sorry buddy, details are important and your job is to find a way to help the customer. But apparently they just make quick sales and don't help their customers. DO NOT BUY from Trends Auto! Fortunately, Revain was very happy to help me. I'm buying parts through a dealer I happened to contact and Revain is providing a credit for the cost. Thank you Revain for great customer service and working with me to sort everything out! The fridge is fantastic and it would be ridiculous to send it back for a replacement.
