Govee is hot on the heels of Nanoleaf and Hue (and other overpriced lighting options) products, apps and services. At least I knew from photos and videos on the web what this product would look like once installed, but what I didn't know was the limited orientations and designs you could customize. I think some corners were cut off, including just a rectangular bar. The problem is that the angle bar only aligns in one direction. This doesn't seem like a problem until you realize that cables can only terminate on one side of the lightbar. If Govee included a corner bracket that could be attached to either side, it wouldn't matter which side of the lightbar all the cords went to the outlet or power strip. Typically, people route all cords into the same areas of their room to avoid the risk of tripping or using unnecessary cord extensions. You can try flipping the corner pole to fit both ends, but then it can bend the wrong way, so you need at least two corner poles going in opposite directions. I would buy another rectangular bar if I could. Attach it to the other end of the lightbar (or if it's just bent in the opposite direction), but since I can't, I have 3 remaining strips (4 if you rotate the strip at right angles) that I can ' do not use. So now I have a section of my wall that is completely bare and would clearly benefit from bending and extending the light strip into that area, but ends abruptly instead. In case you're wondering, I place this at the corner of my ceiling so it should curve in a certain direction down to my floor. Thank you for reading. -SC
