Let's be honest. Time-lapse videos are really cool, and now even iPhones and iPads have frame-by-frame capture capability, but who would actually use an iPhone or iPad to capture slow-motion photos for months, let alone days? We are planning a major renovation of our home and I wanted to capture the progress in slow motion so I bought this camera and am very impressed with it. This is truly a camera designed and built for slow motion and it has every feature you can imagine! MOUNTING OPTIONS: This camera has 2 mounting screw holes for flexibility as well as a mounting strap like a security camera. It comes with a strap, plus a metal bracket and wall mount so you can mount it to the side of a wall, house, siding, or attach it to a branch, post, or tie it to a tree or whatever. A very versatile mounting option and everything you need to mount is included. MEMORY CARD & BATTERIES: This camera only requires 12 AA batteries, batteries are not included. That's a lot of batteries, but they should last a few months, so I don't think that's a big deal. The good news is that it comes with a 32GB microSD card, so you can use this time-lapse camera if you have 12 AA batteries. I believe it requires 12 AA batteries, so it can take photos every 5 minutes for up to 6 months, which is really awesome. USER INTERFACE: This camera has a built-in LCD screen like a surveillance camera and you can actually play the video. or see images on the screen. You can also use the buttons to clear the screen, format, etc. It has a color LCD screen and the display quality is quite good. I'm very impressed with the screen and the user interface. SETTINGS AND FEATURES: This is where this time-lapse camera shines. It has so many additional features and options that are typical of the time-lapse recording function. I was totally impressed with everything it has to offer. I can only shoot on certain days of the week (e.g. skip Saturday and Sunday, since they don't work) and also set the time of day! I can also specify the interval at which I want to record slow motion, e.g. B. every 5 seconds or every 1 minute. It also has a video recording feature instead of slow-motion photos, but I haven't explored that feature yet. What's really cool is that I can watch time-lapse videos right from the camera screen. When I transferred the microSD card to my computer, the slow motion photos were automatically converted to an AVI video file. Very cool. It can also be powered by solar panel or electricity, but you need to buy these accessories separately. This is such an amazing time lapse camera and I am so happy with this purchase and I know I will have a lot of fun and enjoy recording our home renovation with it!
