The headphones are a waste of money, especially considering their pricing. My older "Sony" headphones, which retailed for just 500, sound significantly better. Instead of music, there was a horrific crack caused by the high frequencies failing altogether. These headphones are a good option to go with if you have absolutely nowhere else to put 1500 dollars: I had the suspicion that I had been sold a phony. I was able to locate a few articles that were dedicated to "illegal" copies of this specific model. But that is not the case because all indicators point to me having the original. I drove for ten hours with the volume turned up to eighty percent in an effort to "warm up" the headphones. Totally devoid of any influence.
