This speaker is great! It is exactly as described and works wonders. I use it in the bathroom to listen to the news while I shower, brush my teeth and get ready in the morning. Easy to pair, easy to use and great volume! Not only that, it's durable and impact resistant. When attaching it to the tiled wall with the included suction cup, I accidentally placed it on the grout which caused it to fall when I let go. He bounced in the bath, didn't get any scratches or dents, turned on and connected immediately. A year ago I bought another waterproof Bluetooth speaker. It was ok but limited in volume and control. Also, the charging port cover was thin and leaking, causing the speaker to shut down and die. I really like the charging port cover on this speaker. Plus, it holds a charge like no other! READ SMARTPHONE USERS: For anyone who uses their phone in a humid environment (such as the bathroom), I highly recommend purchasing a waterproof Bluetooth speaker. A few years ago my smartphone stopped working. When I brought it in for repairs, the technician said it was water damage (and voided the warranty) and I would have to pay to have the phone replaced. I said the phone was not near water and he showed me the water sensor under the phone's battery. He said the chemical used on the paper to detect moisture is very sensitive, and just being in the vicinity of steam from a hot shower or sink could trigger a chemical reaction. In other words, simply leaving the phone in the bathroom can result in the water protection being activated incorrectly. After that, my phone no longer fits in the bathroom or sink.
