I've been using a Belkin cassette adapter for five years. He coped with his task, although he was a little noisy - both the signal and the sound of the tape in the cassette. The wires at the cast end of the connector eventually broke. It was a decent product and lasted many hours of use. After searching for alternatives, Philips seems to have received many good reviews and its price was very competitive compared to other products. I was surprised when I first used it - it was absolutely silent. No tape hiss and signal hiss - except for the content. The end of the connector also has a slightly better cable design with a bend where the cable enters the connector. With the caveat that I've only been using it for a week, I'm very happy with it and would highly recommend it. Especially for the price compared to competitors.
