Wireless is AWESOME! I will buy 2 more as spares. Use EVERY DAY at least TWICE a day because I am rescuing and caring for at least 10 cats at any one time. I'm a clean freak and hate inappropriate things or any smell. I use recycled paper PELLETS instead of cat litter because I hate dust and granules on the floor. Not only does this vacuum pick up cat hair from my laminate and tile like no other, it cuts through granules like a champ and hasn't lost performance since the day I got it. I have a small house of 1000 sqm. feet and it stays charged to serve around the house and has a handy edge mount in her kennel. Best of all, the lower section is also powered by an awesome spotlight, so every hair or speck of dust on the floor is visible. I like to vacuum with the lights off because the headlight illuminates the floor even better. Not sure how this will work on carpets because I don't have them, but it's amazing on hard surfaces. It's also very easy to keep clean as the filter is a small plastic and metal piece almost like a metal strainer that just unscrews and is easy to empty the litter box and holds a lot of dirt and the lid is removable to remove it very easy to do. Manual. I LOVE this vacuum cleaner. I clean houses to live and some houses have EXPENSIVE cordless vacuums so I wanted one for myself. This vacuum cleaner is as good or even better than this one. Added bonus: you don't have to squeeze the handle to turn it on. Instead there is a switch :)
