more massager than scraper
I have an old tape tongue scraper that I have used successfully for many years. It has a soft side and a sharper side; I use the sharper side as the soft side is totally useless. This side is definitely shinier and nicer to use in the bathroom. However, its usefulness is the same as the soft side of my old one - it just massages my tongue, doesn't scratch it. I'm thinking of taking it to my whetstones to see if that can help. By the way, there are two in the package, I think to give one to a friend, with the warning that there is little they can actually do.
