I've never had rivulets so I ordered my regular size 8w and they were too small. Got them as a recommendation for bursitis and I have to say they are extremely comfortable but as soon as I took them off after my first run my toe was burning with pain. I usually feel this when I run, but I didn't feel it when I ran. I like the support and ability to walk with the ball of the foot and it keeps me from over pronating like I should. I order half a size up and hope that's the only reason I was still in pain. These sure are well-built shoes. Luckily my daughter wears a 7.5 so she gets the shoes in my original size and she loves them too.
