This shield is the best I have ever used and I have used it many times. For comparison, for the past 20 years, my wife and I have averaged 10,000 to 12,000 miles per year. I wear transitional glasses and each screen filters out ultraviolet light and prevents my glasses from getting dark enough to be useful in bright sunlight. This becomes an issue when you're turning or climbing to the top of a hill and suddenly encounter a bright sun. It's also a problem when driving into the sun and the sun is low enough to create glare. Prescription-lens sunglasses and fully tinted visors are options, but require wearing more and changing visors and/or goggles if driving at night. This shield solves the problem. By simply tilting your head, you can quickly adapt to changing light conditions. It doesn't require a lot of head movement or require holding your head in an uncomfortable position. Your experience may be different, but I no longer find myself correcting my head. As long as I don't drive a lot at night, I don't have a problem with the sign when driving at night. Just like during the day, adjust your head to provide just the right amount of light. This is useful when encountering oncoming traffic and cars with bright headlights.
