What you may not be able to tell from the description or photos is that two wires run the full length of the jacket/hood through these reflective strips. Thanks to these wires, the tail and hood of the raincoat are easily adjustable. Other coats I've tried on for my "noseless" pug have covered his eyes (if not his entire face) with a flexible hood, so this coat is great! As you can see from the photo, he's not very confident in his new raincoat yet, but I'm sure his attitude will change next time it rains or snows when we have to go for a walk. Your published size chart seems very accurate. . My pug is taller/longer/larger than most (27lbs) so I got him a large size using the published size chart and he's almost perfect. It's a bit long for him, but it had to be for his chest and neck, and I can always adjust it with wires so it doesn't get in the way of his corkscrew tail and other "business" areas on his back. At this size it has enough space to wear a sweater underneath if it's cold or snowing. I'm very happy with it! I wanted to do something for him, and then I found this. Thank you Gubi!
