This truck is perfect for our 13 month old. He can get in and out alone. We've had a red car before and loved it, but the steering wheel broke off and no super glue would hold it in place, so we hoped the truck's steering wheel would hold up better. The biggest problem is the assembly. The holes in the plastic for the wheel links weren't big enough, so I had to cut them out larger, and there's no lap belt. Our toddler just wants to get up and can turn around easily, so we can't use it to walk yet. This is a large size and we bought it as the bottom compartment slides out for longer use.
