dude where do I start? These socks are ideal for cold weather or often cold feet! I bought these for a week long vacation in an area that had 4-6 feet of snow during my visit. During the trek I had waterproof boots lined with blood text that had no insulation. And in ordinary socks, walking in the snow, I immediately felt cold. However, I never once felt cold feet in these FUN TOES socks during hours of hiking in the snow. These are thick socks so plan ahead if you decide to wear them with tight shoes or boots. They are very comfortable and I have not felt any effects (such as itching, etc.) from the acrylic material. I'm about 6ft 1,170lbs with medium feet and they fit about two inches over my 8 inch boots when fully tucked in. I would recommend these socks to anyone who spends time in the cold, rain, snow or has cold feet! Now that I'm home and not out in the snow, I comfortably wear them around the house to keep warm.
