Honestly, for the price I wasn't expecting much. This little car proved me wrong! I have bare floors and a very low rug, so it works well on all my floors, especially bare floors. It cleans up surprisingly well (like dressers or walls). It slowly lowers, bumping lightly against what it is and rocking back and forth until it reaches a corner and gently rotates. Pretty calm. I can turn it on and not have to yell when I want to say something to someone. I can use it early in the morning or late at night without disturbing anyone. It doesn't take long to charge and it holds a charge long enough to clean selected areas every time I use it. It's so easy to clean. This is a breath of fresh air for me as my other vacuum has many parts that need cleaning, dusting or emptying. The vacuum is very light and doesn't irritate my eyes, so I don't mind leaving it open so I can grab it when I need it. My family likes it. My kids follow him and watch him turn things over and "eat" them up. They literally can't wait to empty the trash can because they find it amazing when the vacuum cleaner picks up every little thing. This vacuum cleaner actually changed my life because my kids wanted to clean. I have a Dyson Ball that I had to pull out to clear up small messes so it really changed my life! There is one thing that I think needs improvement: the management. The instructions indicate that you must remove something from the battery cabinet before using the device. There was nothing in the battery cabinet that needed to be removed so I was a little confused. The battery specified in the instructions does not match the battery in this device. Apparently the instructions are written for several different models, so I'm assuming the photo is of one of those models. We did not remove anything from the battery compartment and the device worked perfectly. Keep in mind that it's not designed for thick carpets or high volume work. I recommend this for spot cleaning on bare floors and very low carpets.
