I bought all three: a 30 ounce Chef's Planet oil pen, an 8 ounce Chef's Planet glass slide and a 5 ounce Chef's Planet glassware . Cool. After I filled it (vegetable oil, olive oil, and sesame oil respectively) and set it on the counter, my husband walked in and said it looked like it was meant to be in a lab. As much as I hate to admit it, it's true. But these oil slides are amazing. They NEVER drip out (it will get stuck before it gets to that point) and it's so easy to just squirt on the oil and control how much comes out. I seriously don't understand how I've lived without some kind of butter dish for so long! I've had them for three months now, I use them almost every day and they still look brand new. Other reviewers have talked about having to hold onto the "cork" or it will fall out and break while pouring, but I've never had to touch the spout while pouring. Its seal holds perfectly. I also have no problem pouring into a small 5 ounce carafe instead of dripping. Someone said it drips and drips very slowly, but I use it for frying sesame oil and turn it up enough to spray quite hard when needed. In addition, any stains or dirt left on the outside of the bottle are also easy to clean. If anything happens to one of them I wouldn't hesitate to buy a new one to replace it. I love it SO MUCH (although now my husband calls me a mad scientist every time I cook dinner).
