This rice cooker works perfectly but requires considerable pressure to operate which is very inconvenient due to the straight metal edges on the inside of the handles. It may appear that the outside of the handles is most important for padding, but you actually have to hold the handles from the inside until the riser is almost closed/empty. Thus, it is impossible to use this attachment without eventually catching the sharp metal edges. I've had other rice with hollow metal handles in the past that didn't have a straight metal protrusion to grip which was much better. I love that this rice cooker is all metal and not plastic which can break, but I returned this product because it was too sharp for my hands. If I were a person with big hands it wouldn't be such a big problem.
