I usually wear a 9.5 in athletic shoes, but the 9.5 in this shoe is too small in the toe area and a little short (I would say this model runs small). 10 is just right. The shoes are very well made, lightweight, provide ample arch support, soft yet durable. That being said - and this has to do with my tender feet, not the shoes - my feet feel good when walking, but they hurt a little after walking 2-3 miles daily. The arch can be too aggressive for my legs although my arch is above average. I've only had them for about a month so it's possible they're still shrinking. My feet are long, slender and bony and I usually have a hard time finding shoes that I like and that fit me well. I chose running shoes over hiking shoes because running shoes are more cushioned than hiking shoes and that's exactly what I was looking for. I think most serious runners will find these shoes lightweight, comfortable and supportive.
