Not going to lie. I’ve been looking for any way to save money and I recently watched a Youtube video illustrating ways you could avoid buying paper products. It’s amazing how some things just died out with time, but handkerchiefs and cloth napkins existed long before Kleenex and Bounty, so I’m going for the good old days.I plan to get a beefed up collection of napkins going so they’ll last the entire week but these are a great starter. At first glance, they favor the thick cloths you would typically see at a nice steakhouse, but they’re thinner than that and I’m not complaining. I don’t like thick and heavy cloths, so I’m content with the material’s weight. They’re also softer than just cotton because there’s some polyester blended in. They even have a bit of a sheen to them, giving them a fancy touch that would be perfect for events such as weddings and the like. I don’t know how they’ll hold up over time, but I plan to throw them in the wash right along with my other weekly laundry because any added expense of caring for them would defeat my purpose for using them altogether. I’d say if you only plan to break them out for fancy dinner parties or having company, maybe put a little more into proper care. Like using a color protector to prevent fade. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with them and would be open to buying them again.
