These magnets will mess up your vinyl
I left them attached to the trunk for about an hour, which I wrapped in Avery Dennison matte vinyl while I worked on another part of the car. When I took them off there were ugly yellow stains underneath. It cost me time and material. I cannot recommend these magnets. Edit: The company that sells them keeps emailing me asking me to remove my review and offer me free magnetic felt pads if I do so. If they needed felt pads to avoid ruining the vinyl, they had to sell them with the felt pads. It's worth one star.
