We just got this for our ferret! We recommend! We are so excited because we haven't bought it yet. So I'd like to turn to a few reviews that almost changed our minds: 1. Cheap workmanship. I would change it to affordable. I totally understand not spending $280-$300 per cage. I knew I wouldn't get a ferret cage when I bought it. The wire is a bit thin and I feel a little wobbly when assembling it, but once you've got everything attached to the base it's absolutely strong enough for a small animal, especially a ferret. My rats can run away. Okay, the description says it's a ferret and the stripes are 1 inch apart. Why turn down a good, affordable product because of poor reading comprehension? Purchase chicken wire and cable ties. 3. It's hard to say together. but are you dead It can be compared to the hassle of assembling a child's toy. Guess what? You only have to do this once. Go on! 3 base is difficult to clean. I bought this cage because we got ferrets when we adopted a ferret, there were bars everywhere and a pull out tray. Well, he's not used to garbage. Try to remove droppings from rusty poles. Can't wait to wipe down the base with pet safe wipes. Helps absorb urine for easy cleaning. Thanks to the "cheap sticks" *sarcasm*, I can lift it onto the table and easily reach all corners of the cage through the bottom door. It is easy! Base: I was looking for a deep base like this so my ferret would have another interactive area. He's busy digging for pure freshness deep enough to snorkel. It's not always about you, Karen. Let your ferret live. Now the positives I'm looking forward to: There are 3 easy access doors as well as easy feeding. It's light and mobile. Nothing broke when I carefully assembled it. He sleeps on a stretcher because he likes it. I'm glad he's enjoying it. I just need it so I don't lose it while I'm working or sleeping. The rest of the door is open and he is free. I can spend $200 on something else. I am grateful for that! Take this cage!
