I've only been using it for a few months and there are small black dots in the viewfinder. Looks like spots on the focusing lens, but that's a guess. I spoke to several other people with the exact same range finder and they had this problem as well. I would say my rangefinder has been exposed to some moisture but has not been exposed to rain or submerged in water. I know that from others I've talked to. Obviously a design or manufacturing issue in China? Bushnell should do the right thing and revoke them, but you have to go through the return process. They have many commercials telling us how good their product is. Okay, solve the problem and make your customers happy?
