Review on Galvanized Steel Dog Tie-Out Cable With PVC Coating - 10Ft Length Ideal For Small To Medium Pet Breeds Up To 80 Lbs (Black) by Holly Hunter

Quality Tie-Outs good for me

I've ordered these tie-outs twice now, and not because they really needed replaced. I live where it freezes & snows & there's a lot of wind & hail & even the occasional nearby tornado, and my tie-outs are left attached outside for my dogs so they go through all that weather & it's pretty hard on them. I bought cheapies ones from Walmart but they only seemed to last about a month or so before the outer coating would start to crack & break off & even the clips would start to jam. When I got my first set of these I was very happy with them. They're strong enough to hold my 80lb pit securely, but also light enough that my little 18lb Shiba has absolutely no trouble at all with them. All 3 dogs are secure and the coating on these lasts very well while the clips are also good quality & the loops are reinforced which makes me NOT worry about the loops snapping (which has happened to me with other tie-outs before). I got the green ones the first time, but they were out of them when I got the 2nd set so we got the black ones, and even though it's been quite a while between the 2 orders the quality is still excellent which makes me very happy. "If it ain't broke don't fix it." Don't fix it. They're great as they are. Light, durable, heavy duty strength -- good quality tie outs.

Pros
  • Allows your pet to enjoy the outdoors without supervision
Cons
  • Cable can become twisted or kinked while in use
