This was a much more economical option for running outdoor IP cameras underground. I've read reviews that it's thin, aluminum based with a slight copper cast. surely they are right. Bundled and packed, I don't worry about the quality. At the ends where you have to hit them, they break one at a time with the slightest wind, which is frustrating. After a few broken wires, I found that the trick is to 1) strip the wire very carefully (all the nicks in the "wrong copper" and it will break) and 2) not bend the copper more than once (back/ forward or under sharp edges), corners because if you hit it with your fist it will definitely break) and 3) after hitting it, provide strain relief with cable ties. I've had it installed for a couple of weeks and as long as I don't touch it I think it will work just fine. The first time there is a problem with my camera, I go straight to the ends of the cable with a continuity test.
