Works well and the leveling feature was accurate on my model. I tested by aligning the laser dot with the dot on the 20 foot ceiling, marking the laser dot on the floor, then rotating the laser 180 degrees and leveling it again. He was 20 feet in the air in the exact same spot. My only (minor) downside was that it seems a little pricey since it's just point lights and not linear projection. But I knew it when I bought it. Bottom Line: This is the tool you should have when installing railing ballisters to ensure your railing holes are vertical and plumb to the tread holes. Works great for that!
