Update: Didn't work after 1 year of unopened storage

I bought this card as a backup and recently went to test it but it couldn't be read. I know the card reader works because I used a different function card with it. To put it mildly, it was rather disappointing. Update: Correction to my previous review, the adapter worked as intended. The problem ended up being with the SD memory card.
