I bought them along with a bottle of bourbon for our 11th wedding anniversary. The traditional 11th wedding anniversary gift is made of steel, so this gift was perfect. These whiskey stones are beautifully finished, durable and packaged in a beautiful box, ready for packaging. My husband likes cooler whiskey and bourbon and they really chill your drink without diluting it with water. (No, they're not as cold as ice, but my husband says good scotch should be enjoyed at room temperature.) I've considered getting a solid stainless steel whiskey stone to go with it, but many reviewers complained that they spoiled your drink while cooling better, they were heavy enough to break your glass or slip and break a tooth. (Oops!) So I picked these. He's a happy camper and as a bonus he joked that his wife gave him steel balls for his anniversary. Puns aside, this makes a good gift for the whiskey lover in your life.
