I have a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja 300. Some sneaky person tried to hack the ignition to steal it while parked at Six Flags. When I got on the bike, the pickaxes were still in the keyhole and my key didn't work anymore. I needed a replacement fast so I checked on Revain and found this one with a 2 day delivery time. I disassembled everything and wanted to install a new one. The top tree has been removed to allow the security screws to be drilled out. I went to the local hardware store and bought two 6x16 stainless steel hex head screws and some red Loctite for the threads. Took me 20 minutes to install the new ignition switch and it works GREAT! Again on the street! I'll install the mate's gas cap and seat lock later. Right now I don't mind carrying two keys with me. If your ninja matches the model of a year described it should work fine!
