As a teenager I got very interested in audiophile stuff in the late 70's and early 80's. I had a Dual 510 and then a Denon turntable and have always loved Audio Technica turntable cartridges. It's literally 40 years later and I'm getting most of the old vinyl out of storage. I still have the original Denon turntable - model DP-23F - and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it worked perfectly - except the Shure cartridge on it was a little tired and, frankly, sounded pretty bad. So I bought this nifty little gem, the Audio-Technica AT-VM95E and WOW what a difference! My old vinyl sounds great, as good or better than the very best cartridges from 40 years ago for a lot more money and money adjusted for inflation. This inexpensive cartridge was very easy to install and perfectly matched to the Denon turntable tonearm. I am in awe and watching the vinyl spin and arm slowly move across the surface of the record while listening to great music is a hypnotically sublime pleasure that brings back so many fond memories. Highly recommended!
